A woman has narrated a disturbing incident involving her sister and their elderly landlady, describing how the 81‑year‑old allegedly assaulted her sister despite the tenant not owing any rent.
According to the account, the landlady had issued a quit notice about two months earlier. While the tenant was in the process of moving out, the landlady reportedly blocked her from leaving the compound without giving any clear reason.
The tenant, who had kept up with her rent payments, was shocked by the confrontation.
The situation escalated when the landlady allegedly began biting her, dragging her clothes, and eventually punching her. The tenant’s sibling explained that her sister could not retaliate because of the landlady’s advanced age, even though she had endured repeated acts of aggression from the woman for the past two years.
